Located at 28128 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Paradise Cove is the most famous private beach in the area. Visitors to Paradise Cove enjoy swimming, tidepooling, fishing, beach volleyball, and body surfing. Paradise Cove is also home to The Beach Café, the only restaurant in Malibu that is located right on the sand with its own private beach and cove. The café was recently featured in LA Confidential for its fun approach to food. Longboard Surfing in Malibu

It is no secret that the Malibu real estate community is home to some of the most famous surf spots in the world. For the past 28 years, the Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club has hosted one of Malibu’s most popular surfing competitions. The competition is open to all longboarders of all ages, many coming from within the local Malibu community. Proceeds from the competition are donated to non-profit organizations. This year the competition will take place on August 10th through August 12th at Oceanside Pier. Malibu Nautica Triathlon

Since 1986, celebrities, visitors, and residents of the Malibu real estate community have gathered every September to participate in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon. The Triathlon raises funds for pediatric cancer research at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. The event is consistently an overwhelming success; tickets nearly always sells out. In 2011 $1,120,000 was raised for the hospital’s research. Participants in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon Classic complete a 1/2-mile Pacific Ocean swim, an 18-mile bike ride, followed by a 4-mile run. Located at 30000 Pacific Coast Highway, Zuma Beach is one of the largest and most popular beaches in all of Los Angeles County.
